Crematorium24 was an interesting case during my time at BYRON. The site was the model for the other brands of the parent company of Crematorium24.
This case consisted of two phases. In the first phase, I helped our art director’s design into reality. It came to light durin this phase that certain design choices caused poor accessibility. I looked at this together with the art director to create a better color palette and solve the issues.
In the second phase, it was all about the site’s SEO. Together with an external agency, I looked at what we could do to improve the user experience. Where we managed to sell 2 packages in the week before the introduction of the changes, we brought in 5 new customers for Crematorium24 in the week after the launch.
